TOR JIG® SR

The TOR JIG S R guides are specifically designed to address the issue of pedicle screw misplacement, one of the leading causes of revision surgeries in spinal procedures.

These guides allow for the repositioning of misaligned screws into the most optimal trajectory and are also highly useful in extension surgeries for spinal arthrodesis.

What makes them so compelling?

When a screw is first placed using traditional techniques, the bone anatomy is altered, making it challenging to find reliable references for repositioning. TOR JIG relies on the heads of previously placed screws, providing a stable and firm reference point.

In addition, other technologies that use radiological imaging as a reference can create artifacts, complicating the planning of a new trajectory. TOR JIG avoids this issue, offering precision and ease in these complex scenarios.

TOR JIG® PLANNING

Our software TOR JIG PLANNING® is used by the surgeon to prescribe the placement of the pedicle screws. This is the basis for designing and 3D printing both spine biomodel and personalized surgical guides.

Developed jointly with Doctor Antonio Luis Mostaza Saavedra.
