Vertebral arthrodesis is a surgical intervention that consists of mechanically joining two vertebrae permanently, so that there is no movement between them.
Cervical, back and lumbar spine pathology (canal stenosis, multilevel spondyloarthrosis, spondylolisthesis, scoliosis, dorsal hyperkyphosis, etc..) which requires a vertebral arthrodesis, including pathologies associated with sundromes such as Marfan Syndrome and Bertolotti Syndrome.

Antonio Luis Mostaza Saavedra studied Medicine and Surgery at the University of Valladolid; later he specialized in Neurosurgery. He has more than 30 years of experience. He is currently Head of the Neurosurgery Service of the University Health Care Complex of León. On the other hand, he has collaborated in conferences and lectures on his specialty and is the author of numerous scientific articles and chapters in several books on spinal pathology.
